What's wrong with the "Objects may appear" stickers... actually on the 07, it is silkscreened onto the glass itself... Title: Re: on the Streets: Is a factory stock Ducati a rare sight, and therefore unique Post by: desmoquattro on June 12, 2008, 04:24:34 PM Is it unique? Nope...you can walk into any showroom and see the swame thing ;D
Besides...how are we going to know you're coming if you don't have exceedingly loud pipes? Nah, I think most folks pick up their bikes modded right from the dealer. I think I only removed some of the reflectors. No money for mods, every penny is used on the track now :)

Post by: TCK! on June 18, 2008, 11:23:37 AM You guys all might want to put your reflectors and such back on they are really cracking down lately on this, i see more and more people posting on barf about how they got pulled over and where can they get reflectors and license plate lights.

It's a sad state, isn't it? [bang] Title: Re: on the Streets: Is a factory stock Ducati a rare sight, and therefore unique? Post by: TCK! on June 18, 2008, 11:33:38 AM It's a sad state, isn't it? [bang] It is really sad when, per a BARF post, 3 chp officers are used to pull over a motorcycle for not having reflectors and not having a license plate light for his bike... no other violations just pulled over for reflectors... I'm glad our society has such an all time low of crime that we are able to dedicate 3 officers to an insufficient reflector ticket. *EDIT* oh yeah it's probably just encase he was going to "run" Title: Re: on the Streets: Is a factory stock Ducati a rare sight, and therefore unique? Leave the reflectors on, and cagers claim "they didn't see you." Take 'em off, and Johnny Law can spot you a mile away. WTF?! ??? The W.orst Bullshit Administration in its final throws of repression. (conspiracy theory [roll]) I think it was mentioned in an earlier post about how CHP only do highway infractions etc anyways. Its not that they are ever allocated to hunting down dangerous crime except when they happen to be in the periphery of an event where they play support. That said, they argue that they nab a decent number of wanted felons with routine highway stops. The street is where everyone passes therefore its like the big felon filter. What gives with the biker focus though! fk me, do all felons ride?! I doubt it. Its got to be some small minded profiling that happens spun off from locker room gossip. When pulled over, we should remind them that the crooks all ride Harleys, not these.
