If you want to hook up something to the fast idle cable, I just used an old choke lever attacked to the frame. Something along these lines: (http://im1.ebidst.com/upload_big/1/0/9/1243106975-10880-0.jpg) http://uk.ebid.net/for-sale/choke-lever-triumph-t140-motorcycle-pt-60-3567-60-4521-16440822.htm (http://uk.ebid.net/for-sale/choke-lever-triumph-t140-motorcycle-pt-60-3567-60-4521-16440822.htm) Google "classic motorcycle choke lever" and you should be able to find something if that ebay part doesn't work out. This is what I have on my Monster. Push the button in while warming the bike up. Twist the throttle forward and it clicks off.
