Title: superbike family Post by: live2ride on February 26, 2011, 08:44:19 AM catching a show about larry pegram on the HD Theater channel.
he races a ducati 1098 on the show about apparently he rides bmw now. and now he decided to sell his race spec 1098's for the low price of 100,000 http://www.pegramracing.com/1198_f08/ducati-for-sale.php (http://www.pegramracing.com/1198_f08/ducati-for-sale.php) i wonder how these bikes compare to a desmosedici Title: Re: superbike family Post by: zarn02 on February 26, 2011, 08:52:14 AM Yeah, I'd take that.
If I had $100,000 to just piss away any 'ol place. Assuming you just take it out for the occasional trackday, I wonder what operating costs are for that beast? (Though we all know full well whoever buys it will slot it in somewhere as part of a very nice, but mostly static collection.)
