Title: 35mm Slide Film Post by: orangelion03 on February 27, 2011, 09:36:33 AM Hoping some of my fellow dinosaurs on this forum can help me out. I have a sizable investment in 35mm film gear that I havent used in years, but would like to start playing with again. I always preferred slides and I know that Kodachrome has been discontinued now for some years...never liked Ektachrome for anything other than snapshots (no longer available in 35mm camera format anymore, right?). So which of the few existing slide films is considered the best right now?

All Nikon stuff. F, F2AS.. couple of photomic prisms, Nikkormat bodies.

F, F2AS.. couple of photomic prisms, Nikkormat bodies. great thing about nikon? they've had the same lens mount since 1959 and all your lenses will still work on their modern bodies*. *you'll be "limited" to manual focus only on the bodies w/o focus motors, but the lenses will work otherwise. They used the external pin thru the F2. if you think i am taking up film photography again, you are sadly mistaken.. want to buy a shitload of nikon stuff? all pristine?
