My mother in law turns 70 today.
There's a guy in our area that will come and put pink flamingos in their yard in the middle of the night. One for each year.
I've taunted her for weeks about this and she really does not want me to do it. She's threatened to disown me or at the least a permanent #1 slot on her shit list.
I knew if i did it it would be over the line. Sometimes i actually am able to discern the location of the line. This is one of those times.
I had to do something
Its my nature to devil people. So we got these tonight and will be installing them tonight, under cover of darkness, where they will be discovered in the morning.

I approve of this. ;D
As do I. [thumbsup]
(take pictures ;) )
[thumbsup]
Have fun and don't get caught.
Pics are a must!!
Claim that you had nothing to do with it.
and see what happens
We don't have a good way to take pics at night.
R00tchick is dropping me off a little ways from the target.
Ill slip in, plant the birds and beat feat around the corner for evac where r00tchick should be waiting. Word is that mom has eagle eyes and ears when it comes to their house.
I guess i could take the go-pro....
and wear a helmet.
She may not recognize you...
or it would be a dead give away...
I'll be most pleased if she's onto to you and set a trap. [cheeky]
I picture the old hole in the ground with a grasslike tarp over the top, ala Looney Tunes.....

or he sees a box with a stick holding one end up
there is a lathe sitting inside, he goes under it to retrieve his prize and she pulls the string
[laugh] [laugh]
i would have gone with the guy for hire........and a stripper in a cake.
a line is just some arbitrary point from which to start from. how fast you start is up to you....(and your equipment..)
beware R00tchick
its a doublecross
Better not be...
awesome plan!! [thumbsup] [bacon]

Pics or it didn't happen...anyone an early riser in your crew? Maybe some dawn/early morning pics? :D
careful...
old age and deceit....
Well, we're back.
Mission accomplished [thumbsup]
Seems they were none the wiser [evil]

Not so much. They're up at 4 or 5 am every day. And I don't mean they wake up then, I mean they've had their debil juice and read the paper.
I did duct tape my go pro to my arm, but you can't see anything. It's really not worth even uploading so I deleted it.
If they don't notice before I leave the house tomorrow, I'll swing by and take a couple shots.

What? They go together well? They don't go well together?
Don't you guys worry about me. I learned a thing or two in Rat's golden rules thread. I fully intend to make r00tchick the scapegoat by saying she made me do it :D

Yikes, I'm exhausted just thinking about 4am. Hope you're able to get pics!!
... wait a minute, if they get up that early, what are the odds that they'll relocate the flamingos to *your* lawn before you leave the house??
[popcorn]
That would be so awesome that it's basically an impossibility.
seee...I would have left the GoPro set up there secretly in a remote kind of way for to record them seeing it at 5:30 when they go out to get the paper or something
I thought about one of those motion activated deer video cams
I don't have one though.
We've been discovered!!!!
She got a kick out of it [laugh]
[thumbsup]
good work.
[thumbsup]
mitt
How many did u put
Just the two in the pic. It was $10 for the pair. I couldn't have afforded 70 of them [laugh]
What I would have done was put 1 flamingo on their lawn every day for the next 70 days.
Different location on the lawn, too.
Then not only do they have to remove a flamingo every day, eventually they have 70 of them in their garage. [evil]
BC.
