i like the motoGP livery, i just wish they left the numbers off of it.
I like them [thumbsup]
Captain America needs some blue...
a bit meh for me... i know the yellow is rossi's fave color, but i never found it to match that well with red.
my fave skin is still the ducati corse logomania... the only one i'm tempted to get.
[thumbsdown] Maybe in black and yellow
I'm not a fan of schemes with race numbers on them. Be it MotoGP or NASCAR.

Maybe the number would have looked better on the seat cowling.
Wonder how many 69er's they will sell? :D
I like Hayden's more than Rossi's. Now if he could just beat him a couple times........... [bang]
I've got a Hayden Replica RC51 and thankfully it wasn't covered in 69 stickers! In fact it's the best looking year of RC51s due to the aluminum frame and swingarm not being black anodized. Looks 100% better in standard aluminum fare. It has white # plate stickers whereas non-Nicky RCs have black ones. Only has one little Nicky signature sticker on top of the tank at the front.
I kinda like the two versions in the story pics. But I too am not a huge fan of giant numbers on the tank. I'm liking the suggested idea of having one on the back seat cowl. [thumbsup]
I like Nicky's more than Val's but I would buy neither.
Not a fan, I agree yellow doesn't mix [thumbsdown]
I am a fan! (Me on the left.)

But I wouldn't buy one of those.
Eh...
Meh. I'd pass on both of those, were I in the market for a new monster.
[puke]
This is the marketing departments idea of a Rossi themed bike? They get paid to slap a sticker without a design clue. Looks terrible IMO
My opinion of bikes on the street w, numbers on them (http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn198/DoubleEagle_photo/puke.gif)

Interesting they chose the 796 and not the 1100evo to show off the new logomania.
I would NEVER ride a bike like that... makes you look like a poser. [thumbsdown]
Wow, usually I am the critic, but so far I think I have the only ;D vote to date.
mitt
In the twisties, I like passing riders who have numbers on their bikes... ;D
Mike
You know, the Rossi scheme doesn't look too bad. The fluorescent yellow certainly looks better with the standard red than it does with the fluorescent red they used on the MotoGP bike.
That would be awesome just imagine riding down the road in full leathers (with sponsor logos plastered all over it) on this.

You would win the D-bag award for sure!

I like the accents around the seat cowl and where the seat meets the fuel tank.
It's different - good or bad, I haven't decided - but I'm strangely perplexed by it....
What's with the 12in red strip on the rims?

Save yourself $780, buy one of these and slap it on your ride [thumbsdown]

i think they look awesome and i would totally rock that down the street [moto]
I see many of these being sold in South Florida.

796's dont have full rim accents, only that strip... makes it look red in motion, but kinda meh standing.

I just can't get over the "slapping" stickers on the tank with no thought whatsoever. [laugh]
Oh and they could at least have a GP style exhaust if it's commemorative

The neon yellow and red look like crap.
make the beast with two backs you pregnant doges. i don't even own a newfangled monster and i ordered the rossi bodykit.
i'm just going to tape and bungee cord it over my 900's steel tank.
haters gotta hate.
Oh snap!! [laugh]
We just got served!
I think the bike looks nice.
But it's definitely not my thing to ride "someone else's" bike.
To each their own. Definitely not something I would want to own. I am more for the slightly under-stated look and I agree I don't like numbers on things that are ridden on the road. The exception might be the Bayless 1098 from a few years ago.

agree! But those are more aesthetic monsters anyway.
Faster too I'd reckon.
I like it.

I would like to see an 848 EVO in flat black with The Doctor's number and logo though! Something similar to the first Desmo ride in Valencia [drool] [drool] [drool] [drool]

Yeah, that thing was seriously hot.
I just don't understand why they make a motogp commemorative bike out of the weakest bike in the lineup...

because not everyone that is a GP fan can afford a $20k bike.

They will come out with the Rossi DS eventually.

Not to mention some people prefer the simplicity of an air-cooled engine.
The real reason, I'm sure, is that since the current-gen Monsters already have panels designed to be swapped, it made sense to make a set of MotoGP-themed replacements.
