Works fine on my macs like that.

I think it slows the machine down big time. I'm running it on a Core i7 MBP 17 inch with 4GB ram.
One question, does anyone have the spare parts catalogue show up in Italian when they click on it? The manual shows up in English, but this does not. I've had some times when I needed the exploded views for reference and I had to go on the internet and find it instead. I run every software you can imagine through it for trainings I do for schools and have zero issues or complaints with parallels. My boss is funny, she actually runs parallels all the time and uses windows rather than her Mac OS, because she's more familiar with it. I'd say something is not quite right with your install, your computer or your parallels settings maybe.???
