hello everybody...
'02 M750D.
here is the deal:
The bike is in Neutral , on the stand. i start rolling the throttle to 2000rmps and hold it there steady. for some reason the rmps don't stay the same.. it goes up and down .. sounds like its taking the air first then it explodes or something like that. Or if i roll the throttle really fast on the start ,you hear some type of explosion somewhere ... like choking the bike .. sometimes it will shut it off
Today i replaced the spark plugs , the air filter and battery. i think the air/fuel ratio is not set right... not sure though.
Anybody with a similar problem? if yes , how did u fix it ? thank you.
If it's a carbie check to see if one of the floats is sticking and sync the carbs. Could need new needle valves as well.
If not disregarde this as useless info.

air leak in the throttle bodies?
can you give me some more details please?
Raux's talking about a vacuum leak. Check any rubber hoses plugged in and around the throttle bodies, the sync ports, etc. Look for anything not connected or cracked rubber and so on. Also check the intake manifold rubbers and make sure they're clamped. Might want to make sure the throttle bodies themselves are synchronized.
