Title: Re: oink oink Post by: thought on March 08, 2011, 08:39:43 PM while i dont think i would ever be in the market for that much of a full out touring bike... this thing looks pretty interesting for me. that engine sound is incredible and i've always been a sucker for i6's and v12's...
Title: Re: oink oink Post by: sugarcrook on March 08, 2011, 09:18:34 PM Couldn't be happier with my K12GT, but the K16 does nothing for me. When it's time for a new sport tourer, I think I'll be looking at the R12RT unless another K option becomes available.
I'm also very interested in the Motus sport touring bike, but there are other logistical issues there. Service and dealer network for starters. Title: Re: oink oink Post by: zooom on March 09, 2011, 06:08:11 AM the only thing to me that is appealing about the K16 , is the HID headlight with it's swivel mechanism for to (correct me if I am wrong on this piece of data) aim/direct the beam 15 degrees in any direction based on gyroscopic sensors while leaning into a turn for to aid in rider visability...I read about it a while back and thought it was an awesome bit of technological wonder that could be applied to alot of machines similar to how it has been applied to cars already!

Might as well buy a Gold Wing Title: Re: oink oink Post by: Monster Dave on March 09, 2011, 08:55:49 AM I don't know why, but this bike made me think of:
(http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcS0qosq0-JZDJKTvJCgCs0Z3bJvxsVH6x2gPiQ7EcCuk3ovUEfIyA&t=1) Maybe it was the exhaust looking like robot arms with the hands shot off.... Title: Re: oink oink Post by: zooom on March 09, 2011, 10:30:33 AM I thought this would be the official kosher thread. Weird. THE ANTI BACON THREAD?!?!?!?....BLASHPHEMY! There can be only one!!! Title: Re: oink oink Post by: Jarvicious on March 09, 2011, 11:07:07 AM keep left [laugh] Saw that on the screen. I was thinking the same thing during the rider videos. WHAT THE...HE'S GONNA!!!.... Oh, never mind. Maybe it's just the usual cruddy stock exhausts, but that exhaust note did nothing for me. I'll take a Honda Valkryie any day (sound wise :)) Title: Re: oink oink Post by: rockaduc on March 09, 2011, 02:26:31 PM That bike sounds mother makesthebeastwithtwobacksing great!! [thumbsup]

Old technology! I had that on my bike in the seventies, it was called "attaching the Headlight to the triple clamps." (insert smiley winking face here) Title: Re: oink oink Post by: Jarvicious on March 09, 2011, 04:03:09 PM Old technology! That would explain the whole "Why am I in the ditch. Again" situations I've been having. ;D Title: Re: oink oink Post by: Buckethead on March 09, 2011, 04:47:25 PM Old technology! Indeed! Damn you, Preston Tucker and your forward-thinking ways! (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1948_Tucker_Sedan) |
