Title: MTS 1200 - Pikes Peak Edition Post by: Slide Panda on March 09, 2011, 07:29:25 AM Want! They have done a special edition of the Multistrada 1200 S in the Pikes Peak race bike colors. Besides the different colors, it's got a couple different gizzys like a low CF windscreen, but nothing super dramatic.

I had a soft spot for the 1000/1100. Looked a bit like a Go-bot, but it was comfy, pretty nimble and not bad... And I lost that feeling after riding a 1200 and 1100 back to back. The 1200 was so much better in almost every way. Go ride one... that bug gets nasty Title: Re: MTS 1200 - Pikes Peak Edition Post by: DucatiTorrey on March 30, 2011, 05:36:02 PM Go ride one... that bug gets nasty i know, im currently designing a rear rack for the 696, having it welded up here in pikes peak country, planning on strapping a few seal line dry bags, my fly rod and tent to it this spring and heading out a few weekends. its going to be limiting though, many 14ers have rough dirt roads that i wont take the monster on, some though have paved parking. either way, im heading out there this summer. |
