I've seen it before. Smart solution, but not very good looking ???
If I needed that kind of luggage I would get the partly hard shell Axio Tail Bag.

We both have nice removable tail bags that hold clothing and items like a VW bug holds clowns, but I was a bit curious when I saw this if anyone actually had one.
i like it, would look good on a cafe'd monster.

still trying to figure that one out....as in wtf is a cafed monster?
May have to do a photochop on this one. With the tail, I don't like it. Lose the tail, and it may actually look OK.
If that's rigid, lockable and watertight I could see putting up with the looks but only if it's removable for when you don't need it.
The Axio bags flow better with the lines of a bike but they are only semi-rigid and use zipper closure.

I've got one I use on my Versys even though I have Givi hard side bags. Don't have to fumble with a key for running errands.
A bit dainty.
Looks like you could carry a pair of gloves and a credit card in there.
If you can get by with that little gear, might be worth a try.
You would want to at least stuff a rainsuit in there, unless, you never see rain, in which
case, you suck
Reminds of the song "Baby Got Back"...
