Title: Steering damper recommendation for 2000 M900s
Post by: Q on March 12, 2011, 01:20:45 PM
Hey guys, I'm looking for steering damper recommendations for my 2000 M900s. I'm thinking of tracking the bike this summer, and I'm looking to add a steering damper. Also, if you have one you'd like sell, please let me know. Thanks.

I have a Scotts on my 2000 M900S. It works really well seems like it would be in the way but not really most the time i dont even notice it.

Thanks. Is the Bitubo on an M900? I really like the Bitubo on my Streetfighter S, but when I looked it didn't appear that they have a top mount for the M900. I'd prefer to not use a frame/fork tube type mount...a top mount would be best.

i ordered an lsl side mount damper a few weeks ago (on back order from germany). heard great things about them but won't need it as i'm selling the bike it was going on.  if you hear good stuff/wanna check it out - let me know.  it'll be new in box and save you the 3-4 weeks in shipping.

I have a top mount, on a S2R1000,  i am not sure what changes were made between years so i cant help you. I can only say that i would never get rid of my damper for anything. Its just that damn good.
