Has anyone used these yet? One of my coils fried so I was looking to replace them with oem but came across these. They have them for my 01 M750. Any input would be great.

There are a couple of threads about them for a few weeks ago.

I've fitted a set to a customers bike and about to fit them myself to my bike. The guy said that they give a noticebly smoother and stronger idle and improved low speed throttle response.
when is a good time to proactively replace the coils? Years? Mileage?
The stock coils on carbed Monsters/SS' have a reputation for being weak. They were probably built down to a price. An autoelectrician told me that coils (and ignition leads for that matter) can degrade over the years resulting in a weak spark.
I noticed that the Dyna (and now Exactfit) coils I have fitted over the years made a noticable difference to low speed running, starting and throttle response. Those instances of your motor 'missing' at lower revs is reduced. At idle I could hear the difference and my mates also commented on this, you can hear a more substantial engine note with less fluffiness. It sounded to me like better combustion.
One thing that stood out to me is that some of the premium fuels available in Australia clag up your spark plugs like a two stroke, but fitting high voltage coils has helped my motor burn these fuels more effeciently leaving less residue on the plug.
If your bike runs fine then there's probably no need to replace them unless you want to improve or upgrade over stock. It's a worthwhile improvement and upgrade IMO.
I found the Exactfit coils worked like the Dynas as described above. The Exactfit coils cost less, weigh less and bolt straight on, so I am selling on my Dynas and fitting a set.
I wonder if it's anything that would show up on a dyno...
Thanks for your input guys. I seem to be suffering from that low speed hiccup that others have said these coils might remedy. I'll give'em a try and post pics and results.
