Anyone know where I can get one of these tanks?

If you really want one, my dealer has one (or did last time I was there).
It's going to cost you though - Euro taxes and pricey shipping.
I know a guy with that tank and matching tail. I don't think he would be willing to part with it though.

Had a guy knock my parked bike over today and unfortunately, after having mine for 10 years, he did mine in.
Edit to add: to make it even toughter, bike is a carbed 2000 M750

Sorry to hear about the bike. My friends bike is also an M750.
He is a member on this board DucDucDave. Like I said, not sure if he'd be willing to part with it but maybe shoot him a PM.

I'm in Norway, Europe.
This tank must have been a limited series(?), so if one fits, all fits maybe....
Tell me if you want me to check further [thumbsup]
was a DP part in....the '02 or '03 parts catalog they had like 3 different styles I believe.
I guess what I need to find out is when the Monster went to the "ST" frame, because wouldn't the tank on those be different than when we used the "888" frame?
stopintime, if you don't mind, yes check further to see if the tank they have would fit my yr and for a carbed Monster.

Well, I called - it's for +/- '01 injection bikes with the fuel pump inside the tank, larger hole and higher pressure.
I don't know if the frame fitment is suitable for you - check that!
You would have to figure out a way to mount a pump base (without the pump) and make it work with your external fuel pump.
Normal price was ~$ 2,000, but they will let it go for 1,000.
Shipping must be calculated, but I expect it to be $ 150-200 depending on speed and insurance.
Thanks man, I really appreciate the help. I guess this'll be something an adjuster and I will have to argue about. The chruch that owns the small bus that hit it has already called me this morning and the genral business manager is suppose to call before lunch. Initial contact was very positive, so maybe this won't be the hassle I feared.
BUMMER! sorry to hear this and good luck getting yours!

You doing a Bike Night on Tuesdays yet?
Well, the saga begins. My nearest dealer says the only "new" Ducati tank left is a plain silver one at $2206. >:(

I'm sure you can get your tank airbrushed exactly like that for way cheaper than the OEM one.
Problem is that the damage is right at the desmo decal or at least that's what a friend who's been doing body work for years said. Here's a pic of the full decal
