Title: Immobilizer Light on after ECU flash
Post by: gr1976 on March 20, 2011, 04:18:29 PM
I got my flashed ECU back this weekend (S2R1000 race map, immobilizer removed) and after I installed it noticed the amber light is still blinking on the dash. Does this mean the immobilizer is still active?

Is there a way to verify that it has been disabled? I think I read on here to disconnect the gauges and try to start it but could not find the thread.

Thanks

mine still flashes too... i unplugged the gauges and the bike still fires up, pretty sure that means the immobilizer has been removed. also only using the black key if that matters.

Desmo Porshe did the flash. I called them this morning and they said they leave the light on so it looks like the immobilizer is active. I am going to verify by unplugging the gauges. Id rather find out in the garage than 100 miles away fom home.
