Title: need solution for mounting gauges below Cycle Cat triple Post by: Rawr01 on March 23, 2011, 10:32:34 AM i am replacing my stock triple with a Cycle Cat piece and it does not look like i will be able to mount the gauges from beneath; at least not in the same manner as they were in the case of the stock triple. it appears that due to the thickness of the triple, the gauges will contact the edge of the triple preventing the mounting holes from lining up properly. i'm sure i could figure out something, but if anyone has a tried and tru method, i'd like to hear about it. there is a pic below of the underside of the triple i will be using.

If all else fails you can always remove some material from the problem area with a Dremel.

I'm in the middle of doing that now. Do a search (lower gauges) on this forum and you'll find tons of info, including doing it on CC triples.
