Now that MotoGP is back in action, we'd like to throw another BBQ and race watch party at our place (we're in the Flower Mound/Argyle area):

Sunday afternoon, May 1st, 4 pm. 

The MotoGP race will be from Portugal.  We'll have it tivo'd so no commercials  [laugh] 

I hope everyone can drop by for some really good food and even better company.  Stay a while or just cruise by and have a cold beer  ;D

The 29th is a friday. The 1st i was planning a dublin run!! Was waiting about two more weeks before i posted it!

I won't be able to make it to this, I will be watching the race from the grandstands in Portugal!!!!!  I will bring back lots of pics for you though!

Sorry lisa but i will be doing the first annual drpepper road race to dublin. Maybe we should do these more frequently but when the whether is miserable and nobody wants to be out riding. Say june, july, august!

Really wished we could make this, but we'll be in Nawlins shooting a friends wedding.

Cool.  This party is a week away - seems like we're getting a solid head count. 

In talking with the Chef, his world-famous bread pudding (with super double secret whisky sauce) is on the menu along with the usual sampling of BBQ and sides.

We'll have cokes and beer of various variety - if you'd like anything different please let us know  [thumbsup]

I would like to attend.  I haven't been before, so if I may come, I need to know where.  If this is a home, can I bring something?

Checking the weather for Sunday and it looks like we might not have any rain.  Yea.  I hope the driveway is jammed with Ducs like last year - makes a nice picture  8)

There's one thing I forgot menu-wise; munchies (chips/hot sauce/dip, etc., etc.).  So if some of y'all want to volunteer  ;D  that would be awesome.  Thanks Alan and Mindy for the deviled eggs.

We'll have burgers, brats, chicken, and whatever else we can find [evil], cole slaw, potato salad, bread pudding, cokes, sprite, and iced tea.  Plus Corona and Newcastle.  If you'd like something else in the way of beer or wine, please let me know.

I hope everyone can make it even if it's just to stop by and say hi - plenty of food with just as much fun (if last year is anything to go by)!

Well, I'm trying to ignore the 70% chance of thunderstorm prediction for Sunday but now all three of my weather sources say rain likely - all day  [bang]

What do you think about having an alternate date for this if we get a rain-out?  Say May 8th?

Or would you still cruise over on Sunday even if it were raining?  We're totally O.K. with that too, it just won't be a Duc kind of day  :'(

SO, what would you rather do: rain date to May 8th *OR* BBQ at our place this Sunday rain or shine?

I have a truck that keeps me dry.  I can still do Sunday regardless.  Your choice.

8th is out for us.  Mindy and I are going to the rangers game (yankees). thats what she wanted for mothers day.  I had to pay almost double to sit in left field. but I also have a truck.  I will only get wet getting in and out.  just let us know what you want to do.

We will start serving dinner around 5:30 or 6.  I'll have the GP race qu'ed up and ready to go so we can watch that before hand (first things first  [laugh] )

Not to be overly optimistic, but in looking at the weather radar with roughly four hours till the party starts, the storms appear to have passed.  Maybe it will be decent after all

Sorry, I'm out on this one.  This project I have for work is way more involved than I first thought.   [bang].  Been working on it since 7am and still have a ton to do before Monday.  Have fun everyone.
