Title: confusion with s2r rear sprockets
Post by: corvtt1969 on March 24, 2011, 11:37:41 AM
is it possible to replace the stock rear sprocket on an s2r 800 without converting to a quick change carrier? or is whats stock already a quick change carrier? it seems hard to find a "stock style" sprocket as most places sell some kind of sprocket requiring a "quick change carrier" or sorts.
TIA
Bobby

Yes.

There's a Stealth steel/aluminum unit.

There's supposed to be a one-piece aluminum unit coming from AFAM soon as well.

awesome! thanks a lot. i cant justify spending 200$ or something ridiculous for a carrier changer(Even if it is"one time" charge) and i guarantee i wont be buying another set of sprockets for several years(unless disaster strikes).
