The reason to go there is the knowledge. Steve , amongst his other qualifications is Ohlins trained and Jay brings in fhis knowlege from BCM. What you are paying for is the tuning and getting it right for the individual, and they shine at that.

Basic set up, i'm sure (sag, preload, compression, rebound), would fit into your budget. The range would vary depending on what needs to be done. If you need to go new springs, valving, etc it will cost a lot more.

So depending on what you want to get done and what parts you buy. I picked up Race tech springs, racetech valves + i think it was a 4 hour job or something. I cant remember. But the price is fair when you think about it. Steve and Jay are probably the best ducati mechanics in the whole northeast. Maybe even the US, and if you are willing to wait, they will fit you in for a 1 day turnaround since they stock everythng on hand. I think steve was named DUcati Mechanic of the year by DNA?

I called 3 weeks in advance and made an appointment for first thing on a saturday. drove the bike up fri afternoon, picked her back up saturday around 2pm. really quick turnaround. they did an awesome job...i got the works so it was $$$, but i was expecting it to be $$$. I'm definitely going back there for future mods.
