I recently started to make some updates to my '10 696 in prep for a multi-day road trip coming in July. One of the things I upgraded (well, it remains to be seen if it truly is an upgrade) is to swap the mini fairing with a Givi wind screen. After the swap, I realized that by removing the mini fairing, the backside of the speedo is not well-enclosed - meaning if I were to look closely through the Givi, I can see the wiring harness and stuff behind it. Should I be concerned about moisture/rain getting in there and toasting it? Should I be looking for a back cover for it? Thanks for any/all advise! Its just a piece of black plastic... or you could buy a cool CF one from Jeff at Monsterparts..
