The reason for asking....well im thinking of fitting one of those caps with the pressure gauges attached and obviously because i want to buy one the suppliers dont stock one for the 696 Title: Re: oil filler cap question Post by: Qfactor on March 29, 2011, 03:35:03 AM the 696 and 1100 are the same, but they are different than the older style monsters.

i like the idea though. installation couldn't be simpler. then again, temperature on aircooled machines isn't really a concern until you are in stop and go traffic Title: Re: oil filler cap question Post by: xcaptainxbloodx on March 29, 2011, 05:56:32 PM seems like a bad place to locate something you would want to be able to see while riding. i like the idea though. installation couldn't be simpler. then again, temperature on aircooled machines isn't really a concern until you are in stop and go traffic the temp gauge filler caps is all for looks anyway. every monster has temp in the dash right?
