Milk Was A Bad Choice (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APAySMepRm8&feature=related#normal)
Just went for a 15 min ride to best buy so I could buy the "Planet Earth" BluRay, and its ungodly hot! It's not even summer yet! I felt like my bike was crying the whole way. I tend to look down on those guys around here (tucson) that ride around in flip flops, shorts and t-shirts (sometimes helmets, sometimes not), but now I understand why they do it! You cook!! I need to get a super light mesh or textile jacket, this is just ridiculous! I foresee my bike going into Hibernation this summer
No Megusta :-(

F U!
;D
I have my typical summer skins already, i.e.: sun burned arms that end at my wrists and just below the shoulder. :p only been riding without a jacket for 2 days! Yeah, it gets hot here but wait...it gets better!! >;)

I agree. :-\
Dude...I don't want to hear it...I just drove to Phx (no AC in the car) and it's
even hotter here. I've got my cycling race on Saturday and it's supposed to be 94 degrees!!!
I agree - we've officially skipped spring and gone strait to hell...ie summer.
Oh man! that race is gonna be torture. Nina is complaining about no AC already so I ordered some parts to fix it yesterday.....yet im still wearin all black suckin up the sun....After that post i rode home...burned the inside of my legs just from sittin on the damn thing!
Dave, that ride to PHX musta been brutal, and IZ....pics or it doesn't exist! [laugh]
Do a search for Pipe mod and you'll see.

If that's not motivation to go faster I don't know what is!! It's supposed to reach 100 today!!!
Would you like me to scrape up some Snow and mail it to you , there's some fresh that came down last night. ;D

You're a bad man >:(
it would melt instantly here. IZ said 100 in phx yesterday, and here it was 98....not looking forward to "summer"
meanwhile....Southern Maine received almost a foot of snow between midnight and noon on the first of April.... [thumbsdown]
In the last hour it went from 50 F to 64 F...at 2:44 in the morning , WTF !
I think we are due to have severe weather in the next 12 hours, .....oh NO ... winds 50 mph preceding Thunderstorms :o.that sucks the big green weenie !
Severe Storms starting around 3 pm. make the beast with two backs !
Have an 80 foot tree 10 yards from my bedroom already leaning about 20 degrees away from the direction the Storms are coming.
Good bye cruel world !
Dolph :P
Have fun with that!! :-X
50 mph winds shut down the water bridge in Seattle and can do a bit of damage to trees/treelimbs and roofs.
The day of our 72 mile bicycle race, it became absolute torture being out in the 97 degree temps and climbing the hills of the route. I was so glad when I crossed the finish line. I didn't realize how hot it really was until I got off my bike and felt the sun beating down on me. I think I heard that we set record highs for at least 2 days this past weekend. The hardest part about it all is keeping hydrated properly when it's so dry and so hot at the same time. I know I was drinking a lot - I went through 6 bottles of water by the time I reached the finish, but I still ended up with a massive dehydration headache...
all you guys complaining of the heat can eat shit! [cheeky] I've been on exactly one ride so far this year. I would be happy as hell to be sweating under a mesh jacket right now.

It's resonable complaining though. You've got to understand that the overall trend this year is significantly hotter than usual. That's why I pointed out that we're setting record temps day after day.
Yesterday at junior's baseball game it was damn near 90 degress and the wind was gusting 45-50 mph! Can't tell you how many times the ump stopped the game for a moment because he and the players couldn't see because of the blinding dust coming off the field. All the parents of the opposing team left their 3rd base bleachers and came over to our 1st base side because they were get sand blasted something terrible! Yeah... what happened to spring?
Then a big ass line of thunder storms blew through last night. It thundered and rained like crazy from 4-6:00AM. That was the first rain we have had in months. Last good frog chocker we had was last November on election day!! And we just set the driest (maybe it was the 2nd driest [roll]) March since they have been keeping records. Not a good way to be heading toward the normal hot and dry summer. I've been running soakers hoses around the foundation of my house since February! Don't usually start that crap until June or July.
I'm blaming it all on the BP gulf oil spill and the nuke trouble in Japan! [laugh]
I just got back from Orlando, FL. It was 80-85F while I was there! It's currently nearly 70F here in mountains ~

Perfect 70s weather this morning riding in to work. That is until I hit the highway and the wind hit me. Nearly blew me off the road. Should be back in the 80s or so this afternoon.
A balmy 43 in MN today, complete with wind and overcast skies. :P

Haven't you learned by now that it's not smart to take your bike out on the highway...
