I saw the Powerslave tour the 1st time around, when I was in 6th grade. I still have the tour guide out in the garage. Also saw the Somewhere in Time tour after that. Both were great but Powerslave was hands down the best stage show I've ever seen out of 20+ big concerts. None were even close.
I wish I could have gone to a show around here.
Closest was ABQ or Phoenix.
Maybe on the next leg of the tour?

Saw 'em a few times over the decades ... Number of the Beast (opening for Scorpions and Billy Squier(!) on separate tours; both times the crowd booed the headliners endlessly), Piece of Mind, Powerslave, one time in the mid-90s when Bruce was replaced, and last year after Bruce reunited.
I'd say Powerslave was the best because they had not only a great stage, but also all the excellent material of those albums mentioned (Powerslave is my personal fave). But then seeing them live with Bruce again was like seeing them as when I first started catching their act.
Yeah I'm a metalhead. Grew up with both Maiden and Judas Priest. Still dust them off now and then. Neck doesn't recover as fast, and the hair doesn't flop around as much with all that glare! [laugh]
Not so much OT: You might find interest in the Motorhead / Judas Priest / Heaven and Hell (the original Black Sabbath with Dio as singer) triple-bill tour rolling around this summer. Gonna catch them at the end of August! [thumbsup]

I saw Heaven & Hell last year - great show. That's a killer bill with Priest & Motorhead. I don't think they are hitting Denver, however. >:(
I saw them in March, excellent show. Great pics! Maiden puts on a fantastic show. I believe they are in NJ as I type, but I didn't get tix to this one.

I used a Nikon S600 and shot at ISO 3200, most were 1/30 exposure ;)

I see they upgraded their kit since I saw them in March. The giant powerslave Eddie is a nice touch.
