Title: 750 caffe racer, finished but not finished Post by: Lore on April 06, 2011, 12:41:27 AM Hi
I'd like to show you my monster, although I can't take the credit for all mods made on him. I bought it from a guy who made all the changes except he didn't have licence plate holder and had to fancy front turn lights ;D i have problem with these frame pipes, it has holes I can't close :-[ (have to figure something out) I know about plugs but they also have logitudinal holes ??? (http://img832.imageshack.us/img832/281/dsc04778ld.jpg) tail before my hands ;D (http://img857.imageshack.us/img857/4182/img00092201008161733.jpg) a get rid of this can,and bought original side air box (http://img121.imageshack.us/img121/9896/img00093201008161734.jpg) too fancy led lights ;D sold them (http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/8219/img00094201008161734.jpg) bad quality picture but you can see the placement of licence plate an the size of it :-X we have huge plates in Croatia (http://img815.imageshack.us/img815/6151/img00379201104031136.jpg) instrument table (http://img231.imageshack.us/img231/2169/dsc04779l.jpg) lot of dust >:( sorry for that (http://img34.imageshack.us/img34/3165/dsc04781g.jpg) to sum up my cafe race has front fork from duc 749, dual front disc, brembo oro pump and brakes from 916, have k&n air filter, motogadget instrument (masures even top rpm) [thumbsup] , rear tyre is 180 instead of original 160 [thumbsup] had to make some adjustment on the rim for fitting chain (the owner before me did it) exhaust pipes are wrapped with termotech tape, and they are not termignoni :( it's devil, I found out later on. But thes sound absolutly great [thumbsup] also made db killers , because our laws demand "silent" exhaust . Limit is 93 db [bang] But I had them only for technical inspection ;D when I registered it [thumbsup] I have a lot of small things to do to make it just as I want it , but money is a little problem [roll] Title: Re: 750 caffe racer, finished but not finished Post by: DucHead on April 06, 2011, 02:50:47 AM Nice!!! Title: Re: 750 caffe racer, finished but not finished Post by: herm on April 06, 2011, 09:20:40 AM nice bike!
the best part about the monsters is that you can always make changes to make it your own. goods luck with it. Title: Re: 750 caffe racer, finished but not finished Post by: OT on April 06, 2011, 07:20:09 PM Some really nice parts on there...how do you like the P&S(?) rearsets?
WRT the chopped (hacked) frame tubes in the back, trim the ends evenly and pop in some frame plugs. Motostrano has STMs in a range of colors and sizes (pipe ID) on their website - you should be able to find something you'll like [thumbsup] Title: Re: 750 caffe racer, finished but not finished Post by: corey on April 08, 2011, 03:53:30 AM Some really nice parts on there...how do you like the P&S(?) rearsets?
