Title: Aftermarket gas cap for M1100 available? Post by: Mhanis on April 08, 2011, 05:23:18 AM I bought a silver billet quick release style from Motowheels that said it fit the Streetfighter and M1100/696. It does not come close to fitting the M1100. I called and talked to them yesterday and was told that the manufacturer told them it would fit both models but is obviously wrong. I think they assumed it would without verifying.
I called Bellisimoto and talked to him for quite a while as he was doing some cross referencing to double check what he had available (super nice guy by the way). He was unable to find a gas cap that would fit. It appears the aftermarket has not caught up in this area. Does anybody know if ANYONE makes one? Title: Re: Aftermarket gas cap for M1100 available?
