No really.  Just pretend I"m a boy?  No wait, you Italian riders might find that attractive?
I am so disgusted with the response to me not ever getting a ride to the track because my wife
might be jealous its like im living back in Libya.  I am like a black guy trying to get a cab in NYC?
Yeah, America is so progressive.  ANd just for your male FYI.  I tried to rent a u  ha u l    motorcycle
trailor from UHaul.   There is one in Albuquerque..aka Kabul.... no other place had one.  it was taken already.

T,

Sorry you're having such a hard time getting a lift to the track...   :-\

If my truck's clutch wasn't 98% gone, I'd loan it to you...

Is Ed around this wknd?  He's got a moto trailer...  Have you got a vehicle to pull a trailer?!?

It's not about rubbing your button for most of us.  I'm married in a very non-jealous relationship, and the rest of these guys are gay, anyway, except Godec, and he doesn't have a trailer.  Duck Stew, though, he's not just gay, he's Ghay...that's pronounced Ga-Hhhhhaaaaaayyyyy....

I don't have a trailer, but you're welcome to borrow my bike carrier.  It fits into a standard 2" hitch receiver and will work fine as long as your hitch is rated for at least 700 pounds tongue load (get your mind out of the gutter....not that kind of tongue load).  I'll even help you put it on your vehicle, as it weighs nearly 200 pounds.  I also have tie downs that you're welcome to borrow and will gladly give you a quick lesson in bike tie-down 101 if you haven't done it before.  This type of carrier may sound odd, but all three of my bikes have been on it at one time or another (not at one time, of course....but a various times...duhhhhh).

I'd love to see you at the track, kickin' some anus.  I won't be riding this weekend (I'm chief corner marshal for track day events this year), but I figure if you come out to a few track days we'll have you racing proper in no time.  (Insert evil genius laugh here ..... "the trap is nearly spring, Pinky!!!")  [evil]

I figure it's my duty as an SMRI club officer to get everyone who wants to ride to the track, anyway, huh?   [thumbsup]

Hello! I came in last night from a business trip. I would try to attend every track day...but I tore my suit last fall and I am expecting a new one next week. I have a small light weight motorcycle trailer that wont alter gas mileage even on the fat Xterra I have! You and anyone else with this group is welcome to take it anytime! It stays at my residence in Santa Fe. You will have a blast on the track day. Take lots of water and maybe few energy drinks. PM me if you want to borrow the trailer. I usually ride with the group on Saturdays and we meet in Cedar Crest at Coffee at Dawn place...wanna join us for a spin of Crest today around 10ish...we come back to CAD and do it again...? [moto]

Too bad you didn't avail yourself of any of these offers, Tara, it turned out to be a decent track day except for the fact that it was a little cool.  We had one get-off in the first expert session and I think that's the only bike that touched the ground all day!  (We had a couple of run-offs, but they either got back on or were mechanical failures, I think).

Everyone did well!  Ed is beginning to look REALLY comfortable on the SR, and several others I know looked well, too.

Hopefully you can make it in May!?!

Scott, Sorry I couldn't meet you! I did get a glimpse of your working hard with the flag...Met Ed at the track. I mailed Troy for race school and I'll get the track rhythm running soon. It seemed a bit cold as I didn't see the experts dragging any knee on turn one...just the control riders...Perhaps the winter took a tool on everyone's skills, muscles...Good day! [thumbsup]
