Title: "Shorty" Slip-ons for an M796? Post by: Lekak796 on April 08, 2011, 01:50:40 PM Hey guys! Quick one here...
I'm currently researching slip-ons for my 796, but I'm partial to the "shorty" type. So far I've found: Comp Werkes slip-ons http://www.monsterparts.com/pc/WDMON2-S/E-696-1100/WDMON2-S.html (http://www.monsterparts.com/pc/WDMON2-S/E-696-1100/WDMON2-S.html) Mivv Suono, A bit longer than I'd like(that's what she said). Thanks DrunkFatGuy! http://www.mivv.it/risorse/5/724/954/D025L7_a.jpg (http://www.mivv.it/risorse/5/724/954/D025L7_a.jpg) Anyways, I have not been able to find other exhausts that don't go past the tail. I have seen the ExBox Quad but I'm not sure I want an undertail exhaust. BoomTubes which I love are a no go sadly, as there are way to many BIG speed Anyone know of any others I should check out before deciding? Thanks, Carlos *edited for spelling... Also comes with a twin tube version instead of the box. thread here: http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=41219.0 (http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=41219.0) cheers. Thanks man! Your bike looks great! I had not seen that it was also available with twin tubes! I'll check those out, do you happen to have a link for a vendor? I can't find it in Motowheels site... Devil (http://www.devil-exhaust.com/DUCATI~696%20MONSTER~2008-%24.street-scooter.exhaust (http://www.devil-exhaust.com/DUCATI~696%20MONSTER~2008-%24.street-scooter.exhaust)) and GPR (I like the Thunderline ones) (http://www.gpr-motorcycle-exhausts.co.uk/c/117/MONSTER-696--2008--.html (http://www.gpr-motorcycle-exhausts.co.uk/c/117/MONSTER-696--2008--.html)) are also on the shorty group of exhaust. The Thunderlines would be great if they were available in a shorty version, cutting them down would be an option. Thanks! Title: Re: "Shorty" Slip-ons for an M796? Here is a link to the site where you can order the exhaust: http://www.ballerbolts.com/h-competition-ducati-exhaust.html (http://www.ballerbolts.com/h-competition-ducati-exhaust.html) As Raux mentioned, Ryanracer on this forum is the guy that makes these.
