Title: Waether Cover Post by: Com4tably Numb on April 08, 2011, 11:34:13 PM Looking for a good weather cover for my 2002 Ducati 750. I see that a few come in different sizes.
Does anyone have one that would which size I should buy? Thanks Title: Re: Waether Cover Post by: ducatiz on April 09, 2011, 12:09:47 AM I used to cover my bike in NYC and the best cover by far is the Dowco Guardian.
It has heat-resistant material near the exhaust, a vent to keep the moisture down and elastic at the bottom so it closes a bit when you put it on. If you don't mind a used one, PM me and I'll mail you mine for free (you pay shipping). I don't need it anymore. You will need to re-waterproof it because it's been in the wash a few times. Easy to do, $6/ for a spray can of G96. Hang it up, spray both sides, let dry overnight, and you're good to go. I have a cheap ebay cover for mine. it sucks, but it gets the job done, which in reality is to hide the bike from thieves eyes. |
