Title: 2011 vs 2010 m696 - differences? Post by: ChrisH on April 09, 2011, 07:20:24 AM I have been reading a bit about the 2011 696, and it seems that there were a few changes such as a new subframe that allows the addition of grab rails. Also, I believe that the new monster got a 20mm taller bar riser, and a new dark chrome handlebar. Can anyone confirm this? If so, do the riser/bars swap right over to the older 696'?

new risers new seat (more flat, less sliding into the tank) showa fork switched with marzocchi fork, no difference in anything cept name subframe accepts grab rails (unsure on this one, but i think it did) and new seat/risers swap over into the '10 Title: Re: 2011 vs 2010 m696 - differences? I bought the dp low seat a few weeks ago and love it, is the new oem seat supposed to be better then it?
