Title: NW 200 and the TT
Post by: zarn02 on April 11, 2011, 01:53:45 PM
So it's settled. I'm going to go 'cross the pond and see both of these. Probably do some general touristing in Ireland, N. Ireland, and perhaps England/Scotland/Wales if I get super-excited.

It looks as though as an American I won't need a visa for either the UK or the Republic of Ireland.

Who's done this? Is it best to buy a ticket, or are the races equally good standing by the road having a pint? Do I need to be lining up lodging right now at this moment?

Please share advice, arguments, criticisms, anecdotes, and sea-stories.

When I was there last year, the hotel I stayed in was already booked for this year.
I'm guessing you're gonna have trouble finding anything around Douglas.
