When I type an answer to a PM and it's longer than what will fit in the frame,
instead of showing the ongoing typing - for each new letter the text block jumps up to the top.
So, I can't see what I'm typing.
This is on a new PC - Windows 7, Internet Explorer

Try viewing the page in "Compatibility Mode" for Internet Explorer. I believe there's a button located on the right side of the URL address textbox (that displays "http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/..." that will look like a torn in half page - right next to the down arrow at the end of the URL address textbox.
I've had this happen on other forums and that did the trick. I believe you can add the site address to the list of sites that will always be viewed in "compatibility mode" so you don't have to click the button every time you want to reply.
I just retried it without Comp mode and it works normally now [bang] / [thumbsup]
We'll see next time - thanks a lot

I'm going to file a complaint [bang] [bang] [bang]
Is there a US federal/Government office I need to speak to? Because Nate is just making fun of me [laugh]
In the middle of answering another European's many tech questions - - - poof - - - my reply simply vanished :'(
(I was in compatibility mode)
The other day, my reply disappeared and I was told my reply/session "timed out".
I'm slow, but not that slow [roll]

Yes, of course - nothing's changed there either [roll]
I'm sure it's my new pc/software.
I'll (get someone who knows what they're doing to) look into it. Soon....

You're entitled to live your life as you want. No need to roll your eyes.
I would try clearing cookies if you are having session issues.

Actually I seldom drink at all - it's just that it would have explained a lot [cheeky]
I cleared cookies now - we'll see.....
