Title: Anyone with experience with Ducati dealers in Jersey Post by: duccarlos on April 13, 2011, 12:52:07 PM A friend of mine is setting up an auction for charity in Jersey and she wants to auction a day rental of a Duc. It can pretty much be any Ducati. She has not been successful so far. I was wondering if anyone here knew anyone that could help out.

they always seemed pretty cool... but i'm not sure if it's possible to have a dealer "rent" a bike... even if it's a demo unit, that's a lot of liability to have. she might have a lot more success with these guys: http://catalog.quadrental.biz/browseGroup.cfm?item_group_id=92889 (http://catalog.quadrental.biz/browseGroup.cfm?item_group_id=92889) i've never used them or heard anything about them except for some craigslist postings i've seen... but since they deal in rentals already, it'll probably be a lot easier to talk them into giving her a day. I give them a big [thumbsup].

Country Joe is a great wrench and Tyler is the easy going parts guy who will actually call you back. Nothing but high marks for them.

Title: Re: Anyone with experience with Ducati dealers in Jersey Post by: live2ride on April 14, 2011, 04:45:41 PM if the ducati doesn't work out, i know a few people who have won a free rental of harley davidsons in nj. so maybe that can be a backup plan? or is she targeting the ducati crowd specifically?

Ask for Maire: she often came south to ride with the "DML" (now Devalmostro) group in SE Penna. South (of US 1) Jersey pickings are slim -- biggest name dealership in the 'area' is Ferracci in Willow Grove, PA, although Eurosports (www.eurosports.net (http://)) in Coopersburg PA are very active in regional events... |
