I had to disconnect the headlight, turn signals, switches, etc. to move stuff around when I was installing woodcraft clipons. Sprayed everything with contact cleaner, plugged everything back in, and now nothing works! ...except the high beam when i flash the trigger and the horn. I went to the hardware store and bought a multimeter, i'm still trying to figure out how to use it ??? but from what i could tell, i had continuity on the turn signals even when the switch was off. I'm pretty sure i didn't cross wires and the connections seem tight. Anyone want to take a crack at it?
Did you blow a fuse?

Haha. The brake switch still isn't activating if you wanna have a go, Dan.

front or rear?
Actually, I think the front switch isn't turning off, but i haven't had a chance to mess with it. I'll take it apart, check connections, and put it back together this weekend. Riding to work through manhattan today without a brake light probably wasn't the smartest idea.
Do you have coffin masters or pee cups?
coffins, with that stock switch that mounts underneath next to the pivot bolt

Usually it's just the switch needing adjusting.
loosen the two tiny screws and try it. If you listen carefully you'll hear the click of the switch when it's adjusted to activate.
If it doesn't come on there is a small plastic dowel that activates the switch in the master...it may be stuck. Try some WD-40 or similar.
Awesome! Thanks, I'll try to get to it before the weekend. Ducpainter-2, Dan-0

I finally got a chance to take a look at that switch. The pin activates fine... I should have mentioned that I switched my stock levers out for pazzo shorties. I threw out my very bent old levers so I don't have a reference, but I'm guessing there is a little tab on them that hits that switch when the lever is pulled. The new levers don't have anything so it doesn't hit. I guess i need to rig something up to fill that space.
You probably lost the little dowel when you swapped the levers.
You have coffin masters correct?
