2002 S4 shuts off while idling. Stock exhaust. I had an open airbox on the bike so I just tried a run with the stock airbox and it still stalls out and dies. Title: Re: Open airbox foul ECU? Post by: Augustus on June 14, 2008, 08:14:44 AM It would make a stock bike run too lean. You may have problems with the newer bikes that run closed loop ECU's. What type of bike do you have? And what are you trying to accomplish? This may help someone else better answer your question.
