[bang] Back then I used to belong to the Ducati International Owners Club (DIOC was based somewhere in Florida) and the guy that ran it probably used some of the first desk top publishing to send out newletters... no internet back then, Gore hadn't invented it. [laugh] As soon as I got the newsletters I always went straight for the classifieds and there it was... 1974 low milage 750SS in Arkansas and I live in Texas. I called the guy instantly only to find out someone must have opened their newsletter moments before I opened mine and that guy had already cut the deal, sight unseen. It's probably the one on ebay right now for $95K!! [bang] [bang] [laugh] Oh well...

When I bought the monster 16 years ago there was a rebuilt green frame for sale in one of the shops for 18,000... I paid 14,500 for the monster... Think I made the right decision?
