After looking at Ducati Omaha's OEM parts diagrams, it seems every Ducati has a different seat part number.
04 M620: 595.2.020.3C
08 M695: 595.2.020.3D
04 M800: 595.1.036.2B
04 M1000: 595.1.036.2A
05 S2R: 595.1.036.3A
05 S4R: 595.1.036.3A
I'm looking to replace my stock 620 seat with a taller unit. Another forum member is selling an 05 S4R seat, and I'm wondering if it will be compatible with my 04 620. Are the latches similar?
The diagrams seem to imply that the S2R/S4R units don't have a pin latch. Can the pin latch be attached to the S2R/S4R models?
I interchange 4 different seats between my 08 S4RS and my wife's 05 620, depending on what type of riding I'll be doing that day and the latches match up perfectly.
I don't think you'll have a problem.
Ah right on. Do all the different seats line up properly with the tank cut-out?
93-99 are different
anything else should work (except the 696-796-110 of course)

- the first 7 digits (in green) are the important part here. All monster seats from 2000 until the 696 are interchangeable. The factory seat on the 620 and 695 Monsters were lower than all the rest
Sargent seats are a bit taller, and light-years more comfy.
