Title: Greeting from Washington, DC / Northern Virginia Area Post by: militar3rd on April 27, 2011, 07:37:45 PM Hi,
My name is Santos. I just had my first Ducati -Hopefully more to come. I'm in the Used Car Industry as a Vehicle Prep Guy and got my eyes on starting a new business basically doing the same thing with motorcycles. I've been riding Yamaha 2-Stroke back when I was in Philippines and my first Road Bike here in the U.S. was a '93 CBR F2. The story goes on on how I fell in love with that thing but felt that something was more missing. I never really was a Ducati Person until I found a '01 Ducati Monster M900 S i.e. w/ less than 6k Miles. I thought that I could buy this bike and flip it easily to make a few bucks. Turns out the bike wasn't really as cherry as it looked on the pictures that was posted. Price was meticulously negotiated and I took the Duc home. As I worked on the bike, I think that I have fallen in love with it. It has few problems here and there but a little perseverance would help me get pass at these obstacles. And of course, with a little help from a Crowd of Ducati experts, i feel like im not alone in this journey. Thanks in advance, Santos Title: Re: Greeting from Washington, DC / Northern Virginia Area Post by: ducatiz on April 27, 2011, 07:43:24 PM Welcome!

And despite the fact that ducatiz and MadDuc 20/20 both live in the greater DC area, like me - they failed to point you to CAM which is our little local section. http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=20.0 (http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=20.0) - So drop by and say hey there too. And that's the place to go if you need any hands on help. Also various meetups rides and other shenanigans in the area get posted there.
