My M696 blew a blinker bulb yesterday....No big deal, right ? Well it seems the bulb I need (E1 in Amber) is non-existant at any major auto parts supplies (Poopboyz, Autozone, NAPA). Looks to me like Ducati REALLY wants you to pay $125/pr for their LED blinkers... I cannot believe that I am going to have to call the dealer for a damn blinker bulb. An E1 marking means that the bulb has met the performance standards that Europe uses for external vehicle lighting. I bought 6 of them @ .70 cents each and rattle canned them with red stained glass (translucent) paint. Worked great and I have plenty of spares. And then to make the blinkers even more visable, I painted the clear lens, very nice!
