I don't suggest joining that site, im in no way saying its a good forum, thats just where i found them. i tried contacting him for parts, he was selling the left over stuff after his build, but hasn't replied. so, yeah, thats where the TWO pictures were. [thumbsdown] With a tire that big, I doubt you could get rid of the strips. Title: Re: Heavily modded new monster Post by: Grrrly on April 30, 2011, 12:57:18 PM the lights remind me of the Confederate Hellcat.

Title: Re: Heavily modded new monster Post by: xcaptainxbloodx on May 27, 2011, 06:01:44 PM this would be a lot cooler if it was a Diavel.
Title: Re: Heavily modded new monster Post by: ChrisH on May 27, 2011, 06:18:47 PM The wheels are hideous, but the fact that that person made it their own is cool, and the swinger is cool.
Title: Re: Heavily modded new monster Post by: Ahks on May 27, 2011, 06:53:24 PM Before I give my opinion on what it looks like I'd like to say that the workmanship is top notch and I love seeing guys invest time into their rides...
But [puke] Title: Re: Heavily modded new monster Post by: Mother on May 27, 2011, 07:26:13 PM this would be a lot cooler if it was a Diavel. yep on a monster that rear end is too much and the bigger wheels on the smaller monster looks silly but on a diavel I think that shit would rock Title: Re: Heavily modded new monster Post by: thought on May 27, 2011, 07:28:30 PM i basically with everyone... love the work done, hate the look...
anything with those kind of skulls makes me auto think ed hardy too... which is a pretty big no for me Title: Re: Heavily modded new monster Post by: NorDog on May 28, 2011, 08:13:19 AM i basically with everyone... love the work done, hate the look... anything with those kind of skulls makes me auto think ed hardy too... which is a pretty big no for me Did anyone notice that the rear wheel and tire are too big? ;) Title: Re: Heavily modded new monster Post by: BCMonster on May 28, 2011, 02:49:03 PM Looks like a cover for the stock handlebar riser holes is needed, but I would definately like to know more about the gauges
Title: Re: Heavily modded new monster Post by: NorDog on May 28, 2011, 05:40:23 PM Looks like a cover for the stock handlebar riser holes is needed, but I would definately like to know more about the gauges I'm pretty sure they are Dakota Digital units. Title: Re: Heavily modded new monster Post by: DucatiTorrey on May 28, 2011, 05:40:52 PM sorry i lost some of the photos, we can post more later off of the ducati community when i find em
Title: Re: Heavily modded new monster Post by: BCMonster on May 29, 2011, 07:12:43 AM I'm pretty sure they are Dakota Digital units. Agreed on the Dakota Digital. Wondering about the functionality of the electronics when you remove the stock cluster. Should be MY - T - DUC. What's a mity duc? Title: Re: Heavily modded new monster Post by: DucatiTorrey on June 14, 2011, 03:45:50 AM (http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z165/srt10venomous/tb_c1920x1080.jpg) and that, is impressive. Title: Re: Heavily modded new monster Post by: Raux on June 14, 2011, 04:04:34 AM except he still has the motor for the exhaust valve in there [thumbsup]
and he could have just reflashed the ecu to get rid of the immobilizer to eliminate the dash... yeah i'm thinking the guy knows bikes, but not Ducs and I'm not sold on the swingarm shock mount.. 90 deg force on that arm bar [bang] Title: Re: Heavily modded new monster Post by: DucatiTorrey on June 14, 2011, 07:24:23 AM except he still has the motor for the exhaust valve in there [thumbsup] and he could have just reflashed the ecu to get rid of the immobilizer to eliminate the dash... yeah i'm thinking the guy knows bikes, but not Ducs and I'm not sold on the swingarm shock mount.. 90 deg force on that arm bar [bang] yep yeah and yes Title: Re: Heavily modded new monster Post by: Triple J on June 14, 2011, 07:33:54 AM I would like it if the swingarm weren't so long, and the rear tire so big. +1 Title: Re: Heavily modded new monster Post by: akmnstr on June 14, 2011, 12:04:38 PM Hasn't someone else done skulls and dice on a bike before? I'm thinking it may not be an original idea!
Title: Re: Heavily modded new monster Post by: SRT10Venomous on June 14, 2011, 02:04:12 PM Not my bike ..
But damn a little hard on the guy.. Not original what is he suposto use ponies or unicorns ?? but that would not be original either I'm sure someone has done it somewhere.. that bike is extremely original, almost everything he has done to it... Title: Re: Heavily modded new monster Post by: NorDog on June 14, 2011, 03:46:05 PM that bike is extremely original, almost everything he has done to it... Which just proves that "original" is not the same thing as "well chosen." On the other hand, "hackneyed" in the pursuit of cool is just FAIL. Shorten the swingarm, narrow the rear tire, and lose the skulls, and it would be an infinitely better machine (even if it had some "My Little Pony" stickers on the tank skins). Title: Re: Heavily modded new monster Post by: lazylightnin717 on June 14, 2011, 04:09:19 PM It doesn't look so bad with the black skins. I personally wouldn't have chosen the skull theme, wide tire, or extended swinger.
but it is original and if you're going to have that paint job, at least it has a tattooed look to it. Exhaust is badass with the offset undertail Title: Re: Heavily modded new monster Post by: Raux on June 15, 2011, 11:14:56 AM Not my bike .. But damn a little hard on the guy.. Not original what is he suposto use ponies or unicorns ?? but that would not be original either I'm sure someone has done it somewhere.. that bike is extremely original, almost everything he has done to it... it's not that being original is always bad. but attention to details is important. he found workarounds for issues that didn't need workarounds as they are already solved. the exhaust valve, the immobilizer... both shouldn't be an issue on this bike, but he skipped it and well... rigged it instead of fixing it cleanly. Title: Re: Heavily modded new monster Post by: A.duc.H.duc. on June 15, 2011, 08:45:38 PM HAHA, he got the plate wrong :) Should be MY - T - DUC. What's a mity duc? I think that would read "Mighty Duc"... That was just my interpretation though. |
