Hey everyone, looking for input on the Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tires (tyres)
i have a 696, i ride about 65% city commute with some hwy, the rest hooligan/twisty canyons in S. Colorado
im seriously considering BT-16's, but noticed these. Really don't know much about them.
Looking for a sporty City tire. i got over 6K miles on my stock brigdies, so im happy.
TIA
Jim
so just called Motorcycle Superstore about these.
turns out they aren't available in a 160 rear. looks like i may have to go either BT-16 (though i heard they dont last long? actually ive heard conflicting reports.) or the Diablo Rosso.
can anyone help with a decision? looking for quick warm up times, but also long lasting. If i get 6k out of em, im pretty happy.
If you're after high mileage, then you might want to consider a sport touring tire. For future reference Motorcycle Superstore has this nice app (http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/0/0/Motorcycle-Tire-Finder/Tires.aspx?WT.ac=Street_Tires_-_Main6x6_1_03.11.11_TireFinder) to see which widths tires come in.
I have a pair of Michelin Pilot Road 2 on my M750 and I'm pretty satisfied with them. The only issue is warm-up times in the cold damp weather: they take a while.
Pirelli makes the Angel as a sport touring tire, the Diablo Corsa is available in 160, or the regular Diablo (I think they're aiming at something between sport touring and sport) also in 160.
