For those who want to ride over there, parking for bikes is limited.

They have a huge parking lot behind the building. The only gotcha is that you are mixed in with the cars :-\

That was a given, so I didn't even bother ;)
I'm pro a change of scenery, but having a half dozen duc's parked curb side is too pretty a thing for me not to consider.

Has anyone been to Onion Creek? It has been a while for me, so I'm not sure about bike parking. The only reason I'm egging people for a change is because I'm getting tired of eating the same stuff at Rudyards :-\

Never tried it..
A place just like ruds would be the ticket, good food, good beer, no carding [roll]
onion creek is fun, reallllly like the diversity of people there, always wondered why they didn't have table service... *scratches head*
I'll try to make this. I'll let the usual suspects know if I can make it or not?
so onion creek it is I guess...
Alvin, you mind posting directions?
Same time as usual? 730 ish?
This is just my opinion here, but when I met Chill & Vinucci there a while back there really wasn't any place for bikes to park. Really small parking lot and only a couple of spots where you could actually see your bike. There's parking in the street but there were quite a few cars in front.
But they did have really great chili dogs.
In really trying to make this next get together where ever ya'll decide.

I called OnionCreek to inquire if they have any special parking accomodations for a group of people with motorcycles. I was suprised when Mandy told me that they'll reserved either a few parking spot on the side or they'll put some cones upfront (plain view of bikes if we sit on the deck). http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=3106+White+Oak+Blvd.,+Houston,+TX+77007&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=52.947994,42.714844&ie=UTF8&ll=29.781704,-95.390952&spn=0.000893,0.000814&t=h&z=20 (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=3106+White+Oak+Blvd.,+Houston,+TX+77007&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=52.947994,42.714844&ie=UTF8&ll=29.781704,-95.390952&spn=0.000893,0.000814&t=h&z=20)
She asked how many bikes, and I told her between 4 - 8. I also told her that I'll call back to confirm. Is this okay with everyone?

Crikey!!!!!!!!! WTF?!?!?
Yeesh... close one man.
I would have been hard pressed not to put a boot print in her fender
Yowzers... that's too close for comfort. Starting to thunderstorm where I'm at. Not sure I'll make it if it's raining like this in town later.
We certainly needed the rain; my plants certainly are loving it. It's starting to clear up here, so I may ride if it drys up in 2.5 hours. Otherwise, I'll be caging it.
Please be safe out there.
Ah, the sun is out shinning again and the road is almost dry. The radar forecast is also looking good..http://www.weather.com/outlook/recreation/outdoors/map/interactive/77006?from=hrly_topnav_outdoors
Should I ride or drive?
RIDE!!!!!!!!!
I'll be there around 7.
Alright peeps if your on the fence about this, the weather is awesome and thanks to Ducky we have reserved parking right in front.
Get on your bike now!
heading out now...
damn it, I got held up looking at houses... hope everyone had a good time!
Fun time.
But no reserved parking as Mandy promised.
She shafted us.
Busy night, large crowd.
Largest that I've ever seen.
And a bit more upscale crowd, strangely enough.
But nice eye candy.
I'm not complaining.

Sorry about the parking peeps. I'll call today and find out what happened. I got there late so thanks to Ducatibilt and DesmoLu for the front row parking spot. That place was good - good food and for a single guy, it's hard to finish a conversation without being distracted [wine]
Actually they had cones set up when I got there, that's how I got the front row.
Good to put faces with some of the names I hadn't met before.
Cbartlett, sorry for the weak wheelie I just don't have the mad stunta skillz. ;D
great time! [thumbsup]
good times with good people...
I personally thought the wheelie was awesome (but maybe that's because I don't have the guts to do one). Vince, where were you?!?
Good times, good scenery, always good conversation.
