Title: what are std m800 exhaust header pipes made of?

  No FHE on an 800. On a 900 they are stainless steel.  See if a magnet will stick to them, if not they are stainless.

There are magnetic stainless steels...

just not on a Duc.

There are also stainless steels that will rust (not a lot). All of which makes me wonder.

so ultimately they should polish up fine. and last a little while.
