A new ducati rider here.. Was looking for some folks to ride with .. got my self a red monster 696.. (and a traffic ticket for riding without license.same day I got the bike).
But no worries did the apex three day course thing so now i have a "M" on my license.
I live around falls church area...
Also interested to see if any of you all wanna go ride on memorial day weekend.
Supporting the men and women in the uniform.
New to this forum any tips and advice would be nice.

I'm military and stationed in MD. I have a bunch of riding buddies (I'm the only Ducati guy though :() but we're all going to be in DC for Rolling Thunder. I think that's what you're talking about....

I know a guy that has ties to the event and he's got a group of about 40 bikes that will be cruising down to DC together (not sure the starting point yet, but it may be from Westminster area). I think I'm gonna join him along with my other riding buddies. I'll check to see if there are any conflicting issues, but I'd actually like to do this one in uniform.
Perhaps some of the local Duc guys want to cruise out to this event together or even join me and the group I'm riding with?

I think it be fun if we all can ride on rolling thunder.. all ducatis together would probably be more fun than being lost among the harleys.

Ah, so you're one of the unlucky bastards that has to deal with that massive motor pool over at the reservists unit. I feel for you :(
I'd like to see a good Ducati turnout too. I'm still planning on cruising down there with my group, but I'd like to meet up with the other Duc guys that show up. Perhaps we should get a separate Event thread going for this to get more input.

Quite a few people here are in the military so you should feel right at home. As the weather improves we start to meet more regularly for beers and rides (just not at the same time).
If you'd like to organize something for rolling thunder (or any other meet) go ahead and start a thread about it, we're not formal here as you will soon see ;D

Yep we were the one ridin them LMTV's last weekend on BW Parkway .. sometimes it helps to be on MP unit. :D
