My bike deserves fresh paint - cowl and tank - maybe fender.
It's a red S2R and I think I'm going to follow my red, grey, black theme.
The question:
Sport Classic Duc logo (love the typeface) or original 'modern' Duc logo on planned partial white tank sides? (the widest parts of the tank, around the logo area)

Meccanica font pwns all.

Agreed, but after thinking about it a lot - maybe it's out of place on my Monster......
If my bike was a nicely built cafe racer - sure - but it's not.
That's why I ask.
Maybe I need to redesign my bike from the ground up to justify the Meccanica style, but that's not tempting at the moment [cheeky]
(well, maybe a little)
Lies! :D I have that font on mine and it doesn't look out of place at all, in fact the new logo I think just looks silly.

how bout you just make your own new logo and be an origional?
Or just write "It's a make the beast with two backsing Doo-kati" in Sharpie on the tank. I've considered that before.

Dark without the plastic look of all my red plastic..... is a better place for it. As proven by you [thumbsup]
I used to think the new(ish) logo was great, but now I'm thinking that it should be a little more exciting.
Maybe it's time to dig into my not-recently-used art skills [roll]
The red frame with the Ti Silver tank with a 'fuel' window
similar to this with redframe

There are no simple styling questions.
Glad I could help.

The question is simple enough.
Deciding by listening to you, not so much
This link combined with a photo of your bike and a couple of hours in photoshop may help you decide ;)
