Title: FITMENT QUESTION
Post by: DarkMonster620 on May 16, 2011, 11:51:27 AM
Can someone tell me if the intake valve cover of a 2005 M1000 or a 2004 M800 would fit my 2005 M620?

Asking due to the fact that this cover has the tabs to mount an oil cooler and that is my purpose.

What cooler you might ask, either a S4RSt oil cooler or H-Competition oil cooler kit or a XX9 oil cooler or 1X98/848 one ...

I would prefer if cooler is not installed low; I'm looking for a 'mid' height installation.

Thanks !!!

800 should fit, 1000 should not fit.

Not 100% necessary though if you are creative.

One could get a m/f or a m/m standoff screws similare to the ones on the vertical valve cover holding the battery box, and attach a bracket to that to hold the oil cooler....just an idea.
