Title: Wanna change from reverse shifting to normal.. Post by: dwu819 on May 19, 2011, 01:03:01 PM Hi guys, I just bought a 03 999. However, the previous owner had it set up with reverse shifting that I really can't get used to it. What should I buy and install to change it back to normal? How much would it cost? It'll be better if you can post a link of the items I need to buy. I've attached a picture of how it looks now.

That's where a shouldered bolt is going. On the shouldered bolt, the new gear lever is going to pivot. From under the gear lever, the linkage and rod points forward... to where it meets the new arm which replaces the shifter you have. I don't know, but I assume stock parts will work. Post by: uglyducky on May 19, 2011, 03:43:51 PM i have a shifter rod with the arm clamps for your bike. perfect shape. you would just need to hunt down a shifter peg. should be pretty simple ebay or the like - $30 shipped to your door if you'd like it.
