If you use it, the black on the surface will be lost....
Hang it on the wall or rely on the rear brake [thumbsup]
Or just send it to me. I'll make sure it doesn't get used. [evil] [evil]
I'm going to make the sacrifice and use it for all the single front rotor ducatisti out there ;D
How much do brake disks cost? My back one is just about shot.

the one in the photo costs a shitload more than you're going to want to pay.
look in the parts section or on ebay. plenty of rotors floating around

I love the personality of a Duc, theres way to many Honda's out there, even my dad has a 1800 Honda.

I feel it too -- I saved up lawn mowing money and bought a Ducati Bronco when I was 16. My parents told me they'd hang me from a rope if I got a bike to save me the trouble of being killed on one.
Anyhow, you can find plenty of factory rotors for cheap. The OP's rotor is a carbon fibre type which is super-duper $ and super-duper bling.

I just want something that works! I want to spend money on exaust and paint, not little things that the bike just needs. One day I will have a lot of money in that bike :)

I wish! I still get caught in the rain occassionally.
It's actually a BrakeTech AXIS Ductile Iron rotor. Still kinda pricey, but I've been saving my pennies for a while.
the carbon matrix ones they sell have no cooling holes in them those are their iron versions.

the iron ones are very nice tho.. last you forever and ever
Best performance purchase I've ever made. Finally got everything bedded in and the feel and power are simply amazing. I think I need a new set of tires now.
