I have done the worst possible thing and had a accident [bang] [bang] [bang]. So now i am in need of replacement forks and thinking about upgrading. Just looking for options that are as close to a direct replacement as possible but still a improvement over my stocks any input will be appreciated thanks.

By the way the bike in question is a '95 m900.

look for some 916 superbike forks

If you want the deluxe upgrade, go with a set of GSXR Forks.

The forks fit your clamps so you don't have to machine those, then it's just getting the bits to adapt the brakes and axle.

You end up with forks just as good and you get radial brakes as a bonus.

not as direct as possible.

i have a set of GT1000 forks but the caliper is different and the spacing is different.

K6 GSXR forks rebuilt with Traxxion 0.86kg/mm springs and a 50:50 mixture light and medium weight oil....then matched with a Dan Kyle Ohlins shock.  Heaven.

If you go the 916 route, you can have it all done for the cost of some new triple clamps, the forks, a machined spacer, and cutting the lip off your stock bushing that receives the axle on your left side.  And steering head bearings obviously.

i'll sell you a perfectly good set of marzocchi non-adjustables with 2500 miles on them that should bolt right on.
they certainly aren't the best forks, but they'll get you back on the road cheap if that's what you need.
you'd likely need to pick up some 65mm mount calipers as well, but at $60 for the forks, you might come out on top still.

let me know if you want them, they're just sitting around collecting dust at the moment.

this process is really based on what you want to spend.
you can fit ANY fork to the bike really... just a matter of time and money.

look for a set of 851/888 forks...they'll be adjustable...use the same axle and triple tree sizing, and be the correct spacing AND bolt up for your calipers...
