Title: NYC and Body work in an Apartment
Post by: He Man on May 24, 2011, 06:23:31 PM
My friend owns an older BMW and wrap the thing in vinyl/painted part of it... in his apartment. he got his story posted up on jalopnik

(http://jalopnik.com/5805154/how-i-painted-a-bmw-in-my-tiny-new-york-apartment (http://jalopnik.com/5805154/how-i-painted-a-bmw-in-my-tiny-new-york-apartment))

But what the untold story is how many brain cells he lost doing this cause he started acting werid when i was hanging around him. not sure if it was the sleepless nights working on it, or the fumes though. but im going to say the later. pretty cool thing about the determination to do it on the cheap though.

As a person who once built a bike in the kitchen of a rented place, I approve.  [thumbsup]

Cook Nielsen used to live in NYC and told the story of having a flat tracker but no place to put it since it would get towed/ticketed on the street so they dragged it up the stairs into his apt to work on it.
