What's the difference between the 696 Plus and a 696 that isn't a Plus? I noticed on my Ducati Code Card that it is listed as "696 Plus", and noticed a differentiation in the catalog as well.
Plus comes with the bikini fairing, non plus doesn't.
What's a bikini fairing?
The tiny windscreen on the instrument pod.
Ah I see. My 696 "Plus" came with the tiny windscreen and a black plastic cover without the windscreen. Makes sense, thanks.
I would like to purchase the black plastic cover, we have the little windscreen but bought used and no cover. We installed the Givi windscreen and it calls for the cover to protect the wiring and stuff from elements.
bikini fairing plus adjustable levers.

I thought I was special. :(
wait, adjustable levers? Which levers? I can't do much with my clutch and front brake levers. I can adjust the gearshift and rear brake but not much anyhow.
There is a little dial on the levers with markings 1 - 4...
they only started doing this later on the 696... the 2009 didn't have adjustable levers. I think it started on the 2011
It started on the 2010 696. I replaced mine with cooler looking anodized aftermarket levers, but still have the stockers.

Do the aftermarket ones have shorter reach than the stock adjustable's set on #4?
